April in Alaska

Early April means winter in Alaska. We’re having temperatures between 20 and 40 degrees F in southcentral Alaska, mostly in the 30s. It’s warm enough to go outside, but kind of slushy for skiing. Here are some photos I took on a recent walk.

Whether you still have winter or you’re well into spring or another season, my best wishes to you. Take care of yourself!

I love to share my passion for Alaska and its history in my writing for young adults and their grown ups.
