Lynn Lovegreen Gold rush books

Facebook, Fall Sale, and Freebies, Oh My!

There’s a lot going on next week, so today’s blog will be a list of announcements. I hope you find something here that tickles your fancy.

1. I am participating in three Facebook parties this week. (Yes, I know that’s a little crazy. But I like Facebook parties, and the opportunities knocked on my door.) If you haven’t been to a Facebook party, imagine people from all over the world gathering together through their laptops and phones for conversation about books. It’s like a great bookish cocktail party, except you don’t have to dress up or fix any drinks! Now that I’ve sold you on the concept, join me for one or all of these:

  • As part of Prism Book Group’s sale, I’ll be giving away a box of Alaska Wild Berry Chocolates with a Lynn Lovegreen bookmark at their Facebook party on Monday, Sept. 21, 1-2 pm EST at

2. I mentioned Prism’s Fall Sale above. ALL of their ebooks will be on sale at some point during the week of September 21-26, 2015. You can go to the Prism Book Group website, or directly to Amazon, if you prefer. I encourage you to stop by and pick up some great deals on ebooks. Here is the list of which of my Gold Rush books will be on sale on which dates:

Fools Gold on sale for 99 cents Monday, 9/21

Quicksilver to Gold on sale for 99 cents Tuesday, 9/22

Golden Days on sale for 99 cents Friday, 9/25

Gold Nuggets on sale for 99 cents Tuesday, 9/22

3. Last but not least, I promised you freebies!

  • Other freebies will be given away on the Prism and YARWA Facebook parties, as well.
  • Plus, YARWA will have a free Virtual Retreat all week long for YARWA members. If you write for young adults, or are considering doing so, it is worth your while to join just for the week of workshops, pitching opportunities, and agent Q & A in addition to the Facebook party. Find out more at and look for #YARWARetreat on social media.

Thanks for reading, and I hope you have a fabulous week! Maybe I’ll see you around the Internet! 🙂

I love to share my passion for Alaska and its history in my writing for young adults and their grown ups.
