Blog Ireland and Alaska June 22, 2018 I’ve just spent a few weeks in Ireland. I loved it, and I noticed some similarities between the Emerald Isle and Alaska. For example: The scenery is gorgeous. Whether it’s green, rolling hills, or surf crashing against cliffs, Ireland is just as beautiful as Alaska. The people are friendly. I met many Irish folks who were just as nice as Alaskans. The climate is similar–Ireland is about the same latitude as Ketchikan, and they both get a lot of rain. That’s why they’re both so green. Here are some photos from my trip. Enjoy! lynnlovegreen I love to share my passion for Alaska and its history in my writing for young adults and their grown ups. I love lush, green, overcast landscapes — you would too if you were stuck in the sunbaked purgatory of Los Angeles! — and the Last Frontier is high on my list of places I’d like to visit! (I’ve only been as far north as Vancouver on that side of the continent.) Glad you had a great trip, Lynn! Thanks for sharing some pics! lynnlovegreen July 1, 2018 at 9:30 am Reply Thanks, Sean. Hope you make it to Alaska one day! Leave a Reply Cancel replyYour email address will not be published.
