Making #Connections with Yo Yo Ma’s The Bach Project

As you may recall, my theme for this year is connections. (See the first blog post at https://lynnlovegreen.com/2019-theme-connections/.) About once a month, I point out people and groups that are building connections with others. This time, I am highlighting The Bach Project by Yo Yo Ma.

The legendary Yo Yo Ma is well known for his ability to bring people together through his brilliant cello playing and his work with performers and ordinary people throughout the world. The Bach Project is a more than a concert tour. According to the website, while he plays Bach’s six suites for solo cello in one sitting in 36 locations around the world, Yo Yo Ma explores “how culture can hope us imagine and building a better future. #cultureconnectsus”

See the beautiful video at https://youtu.be/1prweT95Mo0 or on the website, and learn more at http://bach.yo-yoma.com.

I love to share my passion for Alaska and its history in my writing for young adults and their grown ups.
