Zine Writing Workshops

Teens, want to be published? Check out the Anchorage Public Library's Zine project! Write a story, poem, or other creative writing and submit it to Teen Underground by October 31.

To help you with your writing, I'm hosting a Teen Zine writing workshops on September 7 and October 12. Stop by the Teen Underground room at Loussac anytime between 3:00 and 5:00 pm to brainstorm, draft, or revise. I have ideas and a fresh pair of eyes to help you make your best creations!

Blushing Books event

Looking for something fun to do for this Valentine's month? My local romance writing group, AKRWA, is hosting an event with the Alaska Writers Guild. I'll be chatting with my friends CG Williams, Elizabeth Allyn-Dean, and Neva Post. This is a great time to learn more about writing romance, or to find your new favorite romance novel. Please join us for Blushing Books Tuesday, Feb. 13, 7 pm Alaska time. (That's one hour earlier than Pacific time.)
