Spring is the time of renewal and new beginnings. While the view out my window is still white and brown, I have hope spring is coming to southcentral Alaska soon. In the meantime, it’s a great time to join some spring writing events.
The Alaska Chapter of Romance Writers of America (AKRWA) has several writing programs coming up. First up, we’re co-hosting with the Young Adult Romance Writers of America (YARWA) a presentation by the fabulous Becca Syme, “6 Productivity Myths and Why You Should Stop Believing Them” on April 23rd. Learn more and register to get the Zoom link at https://www.yarwa.com.
Next month, AKRWA is co-hosting another event, this time with the Alaska Writers Guild. Alaskan author Dante Medema will lead a program on using Enneagrams to create characters at our May 24 meeting. Check out that event and others at https://akrwa.com/events.
Also in May is my favorite writing conference, the Kachemak Bay Writers’ Conference in Homer, AK May 14-17. Get the scoop at http://writersconf.kpc.alaska.edu.
Wishing you a fun, fulfilling spring, no matter what the weather holds in your area!
