The L.A. Wildfires: How to Help

The fires in the Los Angeles area are still raging, and many of us in other parts of the country want to help. (Later, once things are more under control, we can talk about what caused these fires and how we can stem the number of natural disasters affected by climate change and so on. But not today.) Right now, people have died, others lost homes and property, and schools and businesses are damaged or completely gone. Let’s start with what we have and see how we can serve our fellow human beings.

 

This list is compiled from others I have seen; I have not vetted these myself, and I’m sure there are other organizations that could be added. But it’s a place you can begin if you’re looking for ways to help. In no particular order:
