My husband had a tour company in Alaska for several years. When it came time to retire the business, he kept the tour bus (affectionately called Raven 1). He's been converting it to an RV. This fall, we took it on its maiden voyage as an RV, driving it from Kansas to New Mexico to see the annular eclipse, then across Arizona into California and back to Kansas.
Raven 1 did very well, except for blowing a tire. We enjoyed camping in it, and saw beautiful scenery and interesting people. Highlights included seeing the eclipse in quirky Roswell, NM, taking the Grand Canyon Railway to see the stunning canyon, walking in lovely Santa Cruz, CA, and hanging out with family and friends. Here are a few pics of our journey.
May your travels be rewarding, and your time at home be full of joy!
