Winter Wonderland, 2020

I love Alaska all year long, but I think winter is a magical time. (Well, when the weather cooperates, it is!) Although much of this winter has been warm and brown, we finally got a good coat of snow and lower temperatures to keep the lovely white landscape in place.

My favorite thing about winter is when the trees get coated with frost. (See my previous post http://lynnlovegreen.com/frosty-trees/ about hoar frost.) Here are a few recent pictures of our winter wonderland.

I love to share my passion for Alaska and its history in my writing for young adults and their grown ups.
